In Argentière, over 20 local guides, Argenteros, are keen on sharing the strong native bond with their village. Located just above main street, their office is open from 9:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, in high summer or winter.

Provides a very scenic train service, which can in places be a delightful mountain roller coaster of a journey, from the spa town of St. Gervais les Bains through Chamonix, Argentiere and Vallorcine, across the Swiss border to Martigny. At each end there are links to the respective national rail networks of France and Switzerland.
